AT1(AW) Thomas Edward Riegle, 44, was born and raised in Eau Claire, WI. He was on active duty stationed in Norfolk, VA when passed away due to a brief but serious illness. AT1 Riegle had over 18 years with the United States Navy. He proudly served and was ready to extended his contractual obligation beyond the minimum needed to retire. He had five deployments aboard carriers while serving with FRC Norfolk Sea Detachment, VAW-116, and VAW-117. He served stateside recruiting out of Millington and teaching at CNATTU Norfolk becoming a Master Training Specialist.
